She's always had range, she's just more comfortable letting herself go vocally now

Brandy is not a range singer. She's always been more comfortable in the lower resisters.  the way she's using her voice on this album isn't new. The Afrodisiac album is basically B7 with different producers.  Just because that's the way she sounds on this album doesn't mean she isn't capable. It's the way she sounds on THIS album because that's what she was going for

I have no complains about her voice. In my opinion she sounds great on B7 and also on the live she did a couple of weeks ago. I only said that I hope she quits smoking (in case she smokes) because it's not healthy.

Brandy is older. Her voice isn't gonna be exactly the same as 12 years ago.

Bey, Alicia, & other girls aren't singing as high as they used to either.

And also this.  Why would u be looking for her to sound the same as she did over a decade ago? She still has range tho.  Begging and pleading,  freedom rings,  etc are evidence of that.  But people use their voice differently on different projects.  This is her B7 sound.  If u can't get with it then this just isn't the album 4 u. Sit back and wait for the next one.  Hopefully that suits u better
