Honestly, I love it. :dead:

Me too! I think TY sounds the best he's ever sounded to be honest. He is singing. I hope it runs up the charts and the GP goes up!

This is gonna do more than what the girls think ; it's so smart—  he changes the vibe of the song a bit— but it's perfect for radio

and honestly she could sift the original to Urban AC and really BEWK out here

I'm screaming cause I do remember her saying she used to argue a lil bit with Timbo cause he was turning her voice down and was putting too much stress on his beats.

That's exactly what she did on B7.
The sound is not profound. The beats sound flat and all the stress is put on her voice.

She just need to find a better balance.

I really love B7. But when you play Full Moon right after it... the clearness is really different.

Funny, because some people and some critics said the beats drowned her voice out on FM.

I like it, don't love it. The original is and will always be KING. However, most of the GP have never heard the original and they'll probably like it.

Brandy just overdid it with the harmonies.
:dead:
Had she left them alone, it would have been much better.

I agree the harmonies are TOO loud. Comes across as a bit noisy. The beauty of No Tomorrow lies in the minimalism.

I listened to it again.
I don't love it, but it does bring a different theme/element to the song.
And his rough vocal in contrast to her smooth low tone, makes his vocal stand out as masculine and goes along with what he's saying.

I still don't like it. But I think I understand the point of it a little better.

Yeah, that was pretty common complaint when the album was released. I recall pretty much everytime Brandy worked with Rodney they would say it's over produced, music competes with vocals.
