I voted but only because I didn't wasn't Trump and racist America to win. Biden winning doesn't move me and I don't feel particularly accomplished for America. Maybe it's selfish because either way, none of it really changes my day to day.

Dont know how you view electing another old white man in America as moving away from racism

especially when that man has a history of  supporting policing and jailing blacks and an elitist white mentality

trump at least funded our HBCUs permanently where most of our prominent doctors and lawyers derive from and lowered our unemployment rates and matriculated a percentage of blacks off government assistance and overturning those jail sentences

Democrats are no saviors to black people nor have they ever been but don't try to make it seem as if Trump was. He wasn't as awful in his position as president as people would like to believe but he was an awful leader. Biden/Harris are the leaders the US needs at this moment.

i'm ready for a president that's going to:

- try to calm the country down instead of agitating the racial tension even further
- repair relationships with out allies on the national stage
- protect out healthcare instead of attack it with no other plan in place
- put forth a covid response that will help up get this economy back on track and kid back in school
- put forth a stimulus plan that will help out small businesses re-open
- appoint people to cabinet with experience instead of cronies like betsy devos
- try to fix the damn climate


this will help black businesses re-open, ensure blacks with pre-exiting conditions (like diabetes and HIV, which is run rampant in the black community) are protected, black children get back to school so they do no fall even further behind in an education system that is already riddled with inequalities, and help black folks with student debt who studies show on average owe more than other races.
