Atlanta is often touted as some kind of "Mecca" for black people, but it has one of the highest levels of income inequality from what I can remember. Crime is unfortunately a byproduct of economic instability.
theres some truth to this .
I would never tell everyone "come to Atlanta it's like a Disneyland built just for us niggas guys!"
Things like Gentrification are def a real thing here in certain areas - I'm the only Black owner on my floor in this building .
I also realize that my experience here is more pleasurable and comfortable because of what I am able to afford.
It's easier to see things through rose colored glasses when ur not struggling.
But Atlanta is still holding on to its black ROOTS . I get to walk out of my place to see black history surrounding me every day. There's a beauty to this place that I have never seen anywhere else.
So I won't be out here fronting like Atlanta is just somewhere Blacks can come to spread their wings and make something out of absolutely nothing ... but if they are looking for a place to go with a solid and realistic PLAN, damn right imma sell them on the A.
Best city in the world tbh
