Normani just needs a crossover hit. A multi format hit. A song like Rihanna's Work or Whats My Name that can be played on Pop, Rhythmic and Urban radio. Motivation was not that girl.

The introduction of her solo work to the world was extremely misguided and all over the place. Sis put out Checklist and Slow Down, then Waves, then Motivation. 4 completely different sounds - she needs to pick a style and run with it. As a debut artist, u gotta do that. Experimenting and doing diff things comes later when ur alrdy established, imo.
