tyler is ultimately a playwright who transitioned into making movies.
went from low budget rib shack productions to hollywood.
the simplicity of his plays obviously made its way into his films
and i think that's part of the charm.
doesn't make much of anything for film critics to write praises about
but he found his audience and catered to them successfully
am mean, "The Wayans Bros" show is one of my favs of all time
not because it's such a "great" sitcom , or comparable to the Cosbys, but because they're complete fools and entertain tf out of me each time I watch. and are relatable. sometimes that's all that is needed. everything doesn't need to be amazingly prolific, deep or profound.
Tyler is now using that money he made to give back - generously and tremendously
to the community.
