If so, which ones/brands?
I heard you take ...... 'special pills' every day to stay alive may
I take Vitamin D because there's no fucking sun and my skin doesn't really allow it in from the sun.
But you should get bloodwork done to see which vitamins and minerals you're deficient in, otherwise you are literally peeing it out.

Eating a balance diet is best. If you consume what your body doesn't need it's going to excrete it off. Some supplements are dangerous in excess and can slow down the bodies healing process.
The fda is making supplement companies more responsible due to lack of knowledge
Not religiously but sometimes I use the gummy vitamins by Vitafusion and the Mega mess from GNC.
You don't really need to take them and they aren't monitored by the FDA anyway. They're great if you have some kind of vitamin deficiency though. My mom takes B 12 shots.

Does she eat meat?
She's not too big on meat or anything you have to apply extreme heat to in order to consume.

I mostly try to just get my vitamins from whole foods.
But I take these:
Vitamin D (because I'm not in the sun THAT often, and when I am I'm wearing sunscreen anyway)

B12 (just cut out meat again, so this will help. Also, it's great for energy)

Probiotics (digestive health)

Sea moss (has 92 of the 102 minerals)

I take vitamins every single day. More than I probably should, but I got caught up in this routine of doing it. So, I'm always rushing out to get more when I run out of certain ones.
Drais hit it on the head, though. You really don't need to take more than a multivitamin if you're eating a balanced diet. They're usually for deficiencies. But I still take them. My nails and skin is where I really see the benefits. I don't think I've had a bump or pimple in over a year.
Yep. I take Centrum multivitamin supplement pills for men, but I also mainly try to eat a balanced diet, especially lately. But anyways, there are different types you can buy depending on your age bracket. The one I use is for energy, immunity, metabolism, and muscle function.

I've always wanted to try the ones for your hair and skin, but I've never really had a reason to. I still want try them though tbh. What's the harm it could do, other than cause me to slay? :ohwow:
I started using these

I just wanted a multi-vitamin. I'm not trying to buy all these different types of supplements. This one kinda covers it all. The only other one I take in addition to this is Fish Oil pills.

Co' what 'mins do u take?
I take a Multivitamin, Vitamin A, Vitamin D's & Fish Oil everyday. I play around with some of the mixes for Energy & Metabolism sometimes.
I was playing with my hair color 2 summers ago, and the bleach/dye just starts to damage your hair after awhile. I started taking Biotin and the way it strengthens your hair, helps your skin and grows your nails healthy and strong is amazing. The tricky thing with Biotin, though.... I notice when I break my daily groove of taking it, I would sometimes get like 1 or 2 random pimples. It's like my body got used to taking it.
I tell everyone, though. For best results with vitamins, you need to eat right and work out. They work, and you'll notice it over time. But they're not necessary for health.

I just got a multi, vitamin d3, a daily probiotic, and fish oil. And a new collagen supplement.
I eat fruits and veggies already but I figured it wouldn't help to bump it up a little bit. You already know what I'm going through. Lol.
They're fun to play around with. Just try different ones until you find what really works for your body, because we're all different. :sistas:
I can't imagine taking anymore multivitamin or vitamin pills than the one I already take. Ch, I be forgetting to eat with it and my stomach be telling me to f*cking sit down and EAT! :plzstop:
I'm too aloof for all the mess.

Que check page 1. I posted mine. But, I'd say get some Seamoss. and some type of Green Powder like I posted. (That one is EXPENSIVE!). Oh and vitamin D.
I get my omega 3's from flax and chia seeds.
Have you been taking them for a while?
How are you feeling?
A pet peeve of mine is when ppl do reviews of a product and only been taking it for like 2 days. n
ve never tried the vitamineral green (because it's EXPENSIVE!!!), but I'm going to get it one day soon. This vegan girl I follow on IG (@tierragoesgreen) swears by it. But I LOVE the sea moss. I can tell a difference when I stop using it.
I've been using the vitamin D for like 2 weeks now and I'm sure if it's helping. I still feel tired.
D3 absorbs better than d2
I just take fish oil and vitamin d

Black people in general need one:
