My grandmother is light skinned and is of mixed race, but my mother came out giving her a dark skinned exotic book owt. But she took more after my great grandmother. my grandmother describes her mother simply as a beautiful black woman. smooth dark skin with beautiful hair. which is why I laugh when people have stereotypes of what natives should look like.

Then my aunt (moms sis) came out light as fuck.
