I don't care what they open up, I'm not going back to my office right now. They better let me continue to work from home or they can fire me

And it might be July depending on how many girls die next month
I'm keeping count :receipts:
By next year there will be civil suits in every state. Now is definitely the time to even the social economical mean. Because baybee, as soon as our mayor says everything is opening back up I'm documenting EVERYTHING and let there be an outbreak of corona victims.
I'm getting paid.

They are opening select beaches for access. The rule is supposed to be that you can't stand still. Meaning you can run on the beach, walk in the beach or whatever but can't necessarily lay out or sun bathe.

Give ppl a little more of their freedom back considering many people live here for, IDK, the beaches.
What's the diff between walking on a sidewalk and walking on a beach? Real talk though.
Also Jacksonville and Tampa are two of maybe three cities that are allowing this. Since their case count is some of the lowest.
South Florida has the most cases and the beaches down here are still closed. At least where I live they are.
Texas is about to open some parts too. I think it's very telling that both of these governors are Republicans. Truthfully it's hard to determine if they have the public's best interest, people will just have to decide for themselves what to do

They won't be satisfied until the death rate is in the 250K+. They need the numbers to force the rest of the world to put China on the sanctioned countries list. This all political and they don't give a damn who dies.

I don't think we should promote the "let the ppl decide" view tho when it comes to viruses that are easily spread
We "let the ppl decide" with HIV and ... well

The issue that I take with it, is that these people on the beach can get infected with the virus and be a-symptomatic, then go to an essential location like a grocery store and infect someone who would die from Corona. Now is not a time to letup off of the lockdown just so someone can take a stroll down the beach.

The beach isn't a place where you make very much contact with anything but sand and YOUR stuff.
The ONLY thing you share is that thing to wash sand off, and if you rent a chair or something but that's probably closed down still

This is why you wear face masks. If THIS is indeed the case, then there needs to be a full blown SHUT DOWN across the board including essentials.
You can't say on one hand, go strol through target and get your toilet tissue but then on another hand say, but you can't go stroll down the street for a walk or go to a beach where the air is actually probably more OPEN than a central air system where everything is circulated.
That same person going to target can infect people just as much when they're touching things and putting them back. Touching produce and picking grapes.
When you go to the beach, at least you can truly give someone a good 6-12 feet and not worry about touching anything.
Like I'm not disagreeing with y'all but some of you act like people are walking around to deliberately spread the mess.
"Who's to say they won't drive up and infect people?"
Ok yes let me pack me, my beach gear and my lungs and drive 8 hrs to go infect people. TF?
Again the beaches are SUPPOSED to be access for exercise only. People aren't supposed to be pitching tents and laying out with the weekend blasting from their speakers.

Oh so this is a jealousy thing? Got it. Lol
Furthermore, there is more to the Winter Party Festival than what you are speaking of and I know because I work it and was there.
By the time these restrictions about COVID-19 took place, WPF was already 3 days in. Tens of thousands of people had already flown into Miami for the mess. So the mayor already knew that cancelling the festival was not an option because if those tens of thousands of people didn't have the festivals events to go to, they would just flood everything else in Miami. So there was no way to necessarily AVOID it not to mention talks of social distancing were not necessarily a heavy discussion at that time.
The beach party was supposed to start at 2 and we didn't let people in until 3:15 because we literally up to the minute were speaking with local authorities about the right thing to do.
Places like grocery stores, pharmacies, etc are essential to living. You have to eat, you have to get medication, you have to get sanitary products. A beach trip is not essential to me.

Places like grocery stores, pharmacies, etc are essential to leaving. You have to eat, you have to get medication, you have to get sanitary products. A beach trip is not essential to me.
We are talking about spreading a virus. Essential or not...spreading is spreading.
Preventing people from being able to buy food or medicine is literally murder :-/ .

The masks don't protect you from shit. How many mask wearing first responders have died already.
If trump wants to reopen mess then he needs to test EVERY person in the US.
N make it rule that if you are sick or anyone in your household is you stay the fuck home.

The issue that I take with it, is that these people on the beach can get infected with the virus and be a-symptomatic, then go to an essential location like a grocery store and infect someone who would die from Corona. Now is not a time to letup off of the lockdown just so someone can take a stroll down the beach.

They are opening select beaches for access. The rule is supposed to be that you can't stand still. Meaning you can run on the beach, walk in the beach or whatever but can't necessarily lay out or sun bathe.
:uhh: :uhh: jdjdjfjjf
What the FUCK is the point? They really sicken me
Quote from: BigDawg on April 18, 2020, 11:45:21 AM
I just can't believe they aren't giving enough time to at least flatten the curve a little more.
these people couldn't even wait until May :dead:
It's almost unbelievable but this country is retarded, so yea.
Quote from: ton on April 18, 2020, 11:47:43 AM
Florida is stabilizing as far as corona goes, which is probably why they're doing this. I do think it's a bit soon though
none of these folks running to the beach have even been tested yet. It's definitely to soon and too many people in one area whether they stand still or not
Chhh

The masks don't protect you from shit. How many mask wearing first responders have died already.
If trump wants to reopen mess then he needs to test EVERY person in the US.
N make it rule that if you are sick or anyone in your household is you stay the fuck home.
But that would never work in a country where the employees have 0 rights.
!!!!!
I'm so sick of seeing those ugly cheap blue masks everywhere.
:plzstop:
The masks are mainly to prevent spread to other people.
So I read FL posted record numbers yesterday, the same day they lifted mess
https://nypost.com/2020/04/18/hundreds-flood-florida-beach-as-florida-reopens-some-parks/
QuoteFloridians didn't waste any time getting back to the sun and surf when beaches and parks were reopened in Jacksonville — the same day the state clocked a record number of coronavirus cases.
Florida announced 1,400 new cases Friday, the highest 24-hour toll since the pandemic began.

It will take time to get ahead of it but I don't think it's wise to open things so soon
Bottom line. Why is this 10 pages

And I sideeye people wearing gloves. Unless you're changing them throughout the day all you're doing is spreading around more germs.
Addghj
I used to out in a full protective mess at first. But its too fucking hot now and I got tired of the mess.
Depending on how things pan out I might donate the remaining mess. :raycharles2urmess:

Us FL girls weren't having it

The issue that I take with it, is that these people on the beach can get infected with the virus and be a-symptomatic, then go to an essential location like a grocery store and infect someone who would die from Corona. Now is not a time to letup off of the lockdown just so someone can take a stroll down the beach.
