I hate to be that one guy but this interview really confirmed (for me) some of the theories that have been floating around


1. She's completely checked out - usually if anyone can get Bran to laugh and just be herself it's Silent and she could couldn't even answer his questions without disassociating. It's like she's a SHELL of herself rn and it's sad to see.

2. No album which I kinda expected so I'm actually not disappointed lol.

3. No tour plans - honestly, her response to this kinda disgusted me but imma leave it alone.

4. She's only entertaining an EP/mixtape because she knows an album isn't coming anytime soon, which would be great but we know Bran ain't releasing an EP either 😂 - she's too set in her ways creatively for that.

5. On a positive note she looks and sounds great atm. 

I've been feeling this way but didn't really want to say it out loud. Queen ain't really been the same since after Ryan if we want to be honest. I pray she's truly ok! Something is very off about her energy this time around .  Silent usually gets her best interviews and she barely even cracked a smile with him.

She can't be the next Brandy without letting go of the people that are holding her back

I saw a fan suggest months ago that she should have been on every horror podcast, youtube channel, with press headlines of "the horror queen is back." Also, I don't get why Vaughn and Brandy haven't saw she should tap into the gaming crowd. She mentioned years ago that she plays War of Warcraft for hours. So many famous ppl were perched at this year The Game Awards. She should have been perched as well.

The fact that she still doesn't have a brand established even though she has hired so many ppl throughout the years is unfortunate. An established brand gets the public to buy-in and cough up money for projects and want to support whatever her initiatives are.

She needs to get like a corporation. Vet, require references, ask every prospective employee regardless of how "little" their position might be on how they will help her achieve her career goals, make them present a plan to her, perform reviews of them, demand frequent meetings and to make sure whoever is the manager is managing the ppl. The hiring of fans and family, because someone is nice, asked for a job, and looked at as family should have stopped.

Sonja is on her team now. It's honestly an issue with Not having an established publicist, Frank Gatson, And Brandy not wanting do play the game anymore.

I REMEMBER ON THE ALBUM RELEASE DAY FOR "HUMAN" SHE WENT ON 106&PARK AND SHE LOOKED LIKE
SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE OR WAS UNHAPPY ABOUT IT ALL. LIKE SHE DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO PROMOTE IT.

    

I think that same day she had an interview with Angela Yee and they kinda got into it.

She is like this this during a lot of her press eras. The only time she seemed happy and energetic was during Brandy, NSN, AFRO, and Two Eleven

Yeah some of them are doing too much. Bran is fine. If she didn't wanna work or even but out in the public eye, she wouldn't. Yall know she will go into hiding and stay there till she is ready.

The fact she is out doing videos, interviews and stuff proves to me she wants to be seen and get back out there.

Especially with two movies being released next year
