Blackground probably doesn't have the rights to distribute new merch, which I guess is the reason they plopped the OIAM CD and fonts on the shirts. :dead: They literally used artwork from their own archives. The "Aaliyah" album shirt is basically the cover from the "Aaliyah Is Coming" promo CD.

My heart dropped at this. She was promoting this exact album at this exact time on this exact street 20 years ago. Striking but eerie.

nah the way she re-introduced herself with this slow burner is iconic

Kinda like how Jans started her era with Got Till Its Gone, made me love the song even more
Such a risky bold move, you can tell how much they knew that song was IT when they chose it the first single

Starting off the decade with the DUN DUN

:dead: at DUN, DUN!!! Iconic ass beat!!!

I love and adore WNAR!!!! I'm always so torn b/c I like the fact it was typical Liy, edgy, left field & the fuckin video>>>> but I lowkey feel it would've performed better in the fall, Halloween spook type shit lol & MTAW would've slapped harder in the Spring/early Summer of '01... especially if RTB would've followed right after too!!!

The MYAW performances were good but I feel like it's best she didn't perform WNAR. I feel like it would've been underwhelming
