STACEY DASH FIRES BACK AT BET!

Stacey Dash is not here for a clap back defeat! As y?all know, the Internet has been roasting Stacey following her controversial comments earlier in the week. BET was amongst many first responders to her remarks with a IG post asking if they could ?get our check back? Or nah?? They referred to her appearances on the show, The Game, since she felt their station in particular shouldn?t be around.
SO! Stacey apparently felt as though BET?s clap back was unnecessary because at this point, they?re exchanging shade shots! Stacey penned an open letter via website claiming how she believes BET lies to black people. In that post, she accuses BET of throwing the first shade.
?They reminded me ? and the rest of America ? that I appeared on a show called ?The Game,? which appeared on BET,? Dash wrote. ?Well, here?s the thing. Thank you for reminding me, since most people have never heard of that show. Why? It?s on BET.?
We wonder if she is knows The Game originally aired on CW primetime as a spin off from the popular show, Girlfriends and was then syndicated on BET before being bought out and re-launched under the station after three seasons.
Anyways, Stacey then goes on to say that she is, ?thankful for all of the acting jobs I?ve had [and can?t wait for] when people don?t self-segregate based on skin color, while loudly complaining about a segregated society.?
?My problem goes back to the notion that every area of life needs to break down exactly according to demographic ratios except in those areas in which black people have decided they want to have their own space,? She wrote. ?I don?t have a problem with black people having their own space. I have a problem with the folks at BET absolutely freaking out when other institutions don?t match up to what they think is best.?
