didnt really seem to be about a haircut honestly. Not ONCE did she say "u cut off all their beautiful hair" or even allude to something like that. CLEARLY she was bitter about him not fckn with her. Like she was mad about a haircut but what was the point of interrogating the other child about who his mother was, PLEASE!

there were no tears or rubbing of the hair. nothing about what she was doing was about the hair. she was doing everything she could to torment him; and in front of the children. when she and the mother went to that car and then tried to yell for help; thats when i knew she was totally driven by hate and spite. im sure the hair did piss her off but the way she carried on had nothing to do with the hair.

like lil sis said, most African Americans believe in shaving the boys head and perming/straightening the girl's head. which would explain why he probably said to himself "my boys need to look 'fresh'" and cut it off

but then u have this woman who's family clearly is at the very least, highly admixed...I think they may feel a lot differently about cutting hair to be really honest. she genuinely seems upset that it was done.

If you notice, white women LOVE seeing their black kids' hair grow. Look at Heidi Klum. Her kids have kinky hair and she loves it and lets it grow, and even saved it in little baggies to hold on to whatever she cut. But then we had a BLACK woman to come behind her and say "who the fuck wants to save that mess? " and got her ass chewed out by other black people who probably secretly think the same way but was upset someone said it and embarrassed us. if we're keeping it ALL the way 100.

My point is, you guys are saying this has NOTHING to do with the haircut. I just don't agree, even after watching more of this. Nothing at all? Not even in the least bit? I believe cultural differences definitely may come into play here a bit.

I don't think there are any cultural differences.

They are in Louisiana. She gives a Creole mess, which is pretty much considered Black, or a strain of.
Her mother is clearly a light skinned Black woman.

This bitch is just being petty. He left her & got with another chick, and she can't deal.

He probably got tired of her controlling ways and her mother meddling in their mess.

But Creoles (if they are in fact Creole) do actually have their own culture...perhaps one of the most diverse , and are known for separating themselves from other Blacks...yes the social constructs that are in place say that they are simply "black", but they consider themselves to be their own little world separate from others...much like their ancestors who were Free People of Color and gave a regal "above it all" tea, and owned slaves even though they were of African descent themselves.



Don't mean to get that deep into it, but culture differences are definitely present in that community.

You guys laugh and find problems with little things, but what about the fact that this thread is saying that co-parenting drama is a Black thing? And embarrassing to us? No one found issue with that? You guys pick and choose what you find to be out of line. Apparently discussing hair in a haircut thread, and discussing Creoles when someone else wrongly assumed that someone is based off their appearance, is random and weird.

But singling Blacks out as if we're the only people with overt familial dysfunction is perfectly fine, let's chat about that, let's touch and agree on that, even though 2 of the 3 parties in this video barely look Black. But I can take a note, when anything is about hair I should just shut up and not put my two cents in. Otherwise everything I say will be challenged and contradicted. LOL.
