I didn't watch her live but I'm looking at people's responses on Lipstickalley.


She is still upset about the inappropriate joking question his radio hosts asked her on air years ago.  That's probably the source for this beef.     I'll bet her husband is really the one holding the grudge.


She said he's not DL and she was just joking.

She talked about her other nemeses like Oprah, Tyler, etc.  Vivica, apparently.   


She gave props to Roseanne, who is racist.   


Very little was said about the contract.


Not them filming the whole time like this  .

I've worked back stage at a lot of concerts/comedy shows and I've been in the audience for a lot. I have never seen anyone carry on like Monique. I've seen a lot of petty stuff like the opener having their DJ play the closers songs, the opener telling the closers jokes, the opener going on so late that the closer runs out of time. I've seen an opener put on the best show of their life to make the closer look bad. I've seen an opener refuse to go on stage. I've never seen an entertainer verbally attack the closer on stage after a dispute. People don't spend their hard earned money to see that and don't care who opens or closes. The promo made it clear as day DL was the closer. I think there was some backend things going on with the promotors but Monique is a fool if she thought she was closing that show. She should have found a better way to deal with it.

Wait, the question she claimed to be offended by was asked by DL's co-host, as DL was not even present for the interview. She called DL to complain about it, and she felt his response was one that protected his co-host. She requested it NOT be aired, and DL honored her request and did NOT air it. Why is that particular interview even still on her mind to the point she was seeking some type of vengeance? Yes, she did not like DL's response to what she felt was offensive, but per her request he did not allow it to be aired.

So no wonder no one remembers this interview and can't find footage of it.

Like, she can't sue DL or hold him accountable for anything.  He can't control the lineup.  The promoters do.     He didn't sign her contract.  Promoters did.   

Fellow comedians said they never care about line-up, and they often switch with other comedians depending on the show.  The whole point is to kill it when you get your slot.  Mo turned it into dragging DL.  And if she doesn't go after the promoters, she gets nothing from this whole debacle.     We already knew DL was a POS.  What else is goin on?

Bottom line is he FAILED to prove he was the original person to headline , that's what he was going hard in the paint to prove and that's what I needed verifiable receipts for .

All this other mess about "I don't believe ha if she don't file a lawsuit!!"  And other stuff Is extra.

She came thru with receipts showing SHE was the original headliner .

That was the tea that was in question and the receipts we were waiting for ... as in, a contract ... were provided by HER.

something DL failed to do although he was clearly desperate enough to deceive us in order to give an ILLUSION that it was he who was slated to headline from the jump.

We can conclude that monique was telling the truth when she said she was the original headliner and was bumped out of her mess by DL.

The documentation backs up that story.

if you're presenting something as something that it's not , that is deception .

Pretty simple . Maybe in DisneyLand we could all just say "well I'm sure they didn't MEAN to mislead me 🤗❤️ " when people put bullshit in front of us to eat but this is the real world .

He presented a memo from his team as a contract between himself and a promoter  . And as a result , confused a lot of people , Including people in this thread .

There was purpose behind his deceit . His intent was clearly to give smoke and mirrors and mislead people , and for the most part it worked .

That is deceptive. If that doesn't make sense to u I dunno what to say. Maybe some of y'all have no issues with people playing in your face but I find it offensive and insulting .
