The point of what she said (completely miss quoted in that post) is that she takes her time make an album and didnt want the focus to initially be on just one song but digest the full thing.
She (unlike many artist) love the stuff they've made in the past. Kinda the reason she JUST performed "Bootylicious" at MIA.  Doubt if someone "cringed" they would perform it still years later.
