there was an assumption that he hasn't been doing much cuz GHan isn't letting him

i was almost certain that Silent was/has always been doing everything he could. which is why i responded in saying that it's unfair to him to say he hasn't been putting in as much effort as he can. and unfair to GHan to say she'd prevent him from doing that.

glad he confirmed ....whether this was a coincidence or an indirect response

Since I mentioned Silent this must be directed towards me. Not once in my original statement did I say he's not making effort - in fact I said if he was more involved Brandy would probably be more consistent.

you didn't say he has no desire to make an effort, but you clearly felt there was no effort is being made - for whatever reason.

As far as Brandy's artistry and the work she has given us in recent years -- I applaud her.
Brandy could have disappeared entirely. The fact that she's still here and working -- incredible.
She's an inspiration.

As far as her "brand," -- Brandy's brand is inconsistency (in terms of promotion and rollout). That is the brand.
Regardless of the reason.

Brandy isn't on Ebony again because Vaughn doesn't have the connects to get her on covers outside of that People magazine cover.  Top communications teams are reaching out to magazines for covers and interviews, invitations to events, and campaigning for their clients to get awards.

I think it's hard for a lot of us regular folks to understand that sometimes people see fame for what it is.

Especially someone like GHan who has experienced both the positive and very negative effects of it

Yeah this is the process. The publicist pitches their client for covers and they pitch for a specific month usually the months before and after a project comes out. Like if Vaughn had the connects who would have been securing March covers for since Descendants 3 comes out in April.

For the bigger covers especially for the September - December issues top publicists are pitching months in advance because those are highly sought after.
