I agree that this show SEEMED to give a bit of 2000s mess. I want black people to have that awards show again where it's OUR space but still prestigious enough to draw white pop artists JT, Christina, Bruno mars, etc

Yeaaaaa. Normally I would agree with this but Victoria has been showing the fuck OUT lately. She's really growing into her stage presence now. Before, I just didn't feel she had "it factor" but I feel like she has officially grown into it now.

Yea and I was literally sitting there thinking because although I think Victoria is the OVERALL better artist, I think a lil while ago I would say Normani is the more DYNAMIC performer.  They're both great performers tho. I'm waiting on chloe to be a lil more NATURAL onstage so I can more consistently enjoy her.  I enjoyed her last night but sometimes it's definitely try hard. Lowkey Tyla might be sumn too. I need to see more from her before I give her TOO MUCH

I find it hilarious that Tinashe is supposed to be this "DANCER" but her performances are always kinda FLOPS to me. Didn't she do that terrible janet too? It really makes me appreciate our 2000 artists.  For some reason I think of tunafish as more of a dancer than Mya but Mya kinda SMASHED her janet mess. Even fckn PINK! Tinashe just ain't that girl smh

Luke James, Avery Wilson, someone else said kenyon dixon who I personally love but I don't think he's someone people recognize enough to appreciate him doing this yet.

I'm watching the show now and honestly, this is probably the best BET Awards since the 2000s. Every performance has been enjoyable and the star power is there. The girls are RUNNING this stage
