precisely  .  We always going to THEY shit. I want us to have an awards show that's regarded as high that they  bring they asses to. I feel like Lowkey BET awards was closest in the past with drawing some big acts. Because tbh we don't even come to our own shit. The BET awards weren't even having A list BLACK musicians for a while. That's why I stopped watching.

Usher's songs are sexual. They literally were pulling shit from his performances and incorporating them in theirs. Tinashe was the worst to me follow by marsha

My fav was actually Donald Glover. I just thought his own personal spin of Usher's song was perfection. I loved how he stayed genuine to himself yet still giving an honorable "Usher" tribute. I also loved Teyanna/Victoria, honestly, all of them were good except Marsha. Tinashe wasn't "bad", it was just kinda lackluster... the song just wasn't a good fit for her. She should've done "Climax" or "OMG"

Nobody is checking for Bey to come anymore. No one even clapped or made noise when they mentioned Bey in the nominees.

But there needs to be a balance of OLD AND NEW. and idgaf what u say in them past years they was just offering up tickets and performances to any ol body. I'm not saying it needs to be artists from the 2000s but it needs to be legit ALISTERS and up and comers. TYLA, UGLY RED, GORILLA, VICTORIA MONET, COCO, etc. These people were good representations of being current but still LEGIT movers in the industry
