The powers that be want TikTok gone because they can't control it. Many people are getting their news from the app now instead of mainstream media, and they hate it because they can no longer control the narrative.
For example:
- The truth being exposed about Israel and the Palestinian genocide
- The gorls rallying around & celebrating Luigi
- Young people using TikTok to engage and vote against Republicans in 2020
TikTok has become too much of a force. The rich & powerful are desperate to keep the masses under control while maintaining the status quo. Which is why you have mainstream media elites lobbying politicians to get the app yanked. Elon MUST & Mark Zuckerfag are also lobbying to get it axed because it's a huge competitor stealing traffic away from Twitter, Facebook, & IG.
They've had it out for TikTok for a minute. First, they tried to scare us into conforming by saying China was stealing our data. However, all the other Chinese sites like Temu (who also collects data) are just fine. The US government is full of shit. Especially considering all the recent data breaches from American apps.
Now that Trump won the election he wants to "save" TikTok. When he and his minions are a big part of why it's being pulled in the first place.
