This is a label issue not a management one.  Her management seems fine tbfh
Like everything is gonna somehow become NSN all over again. Who managed her during Full Moon? Afrodisiac?

Sonja managed her during FM but she was preggo.

EXACTLY!  One advised her to lie changing the trajectory of her whole career and the other ran the shit show that was the afrodisiac era. Jeff at this point seems to be going very hard for her and has been delivering.  In my mind, sonja was the one that devised that whole married thing which actually fckd the afri era as well because that's when the whole lie was exposed.  In stead of trying to get ahead of that pregnancy, having the foresight to shoot more videos n mess to get the most out of that wasted era. She was busy being out of touch and trying to keep up this good girl image like in 2002 people would shun her for being GROWN and pregnant. Sonja can stay right where she is TBRFHWY

At the end of the day Brandy has no one to blame but herself on that decision. But I believe her mother encouraged it (if not concocted the plan) and it reflected poorly on her as a manager and a mother.

I'm not anti Sonja but this is not the 1990s and Sonja has some less than stellar eras that she oversaw as well. The only thing that she really should be commended on is being a mother lion when it came to deals.

The thing is Sonja grinds!   She doesnt accept defeat. So where brandy may be meek and mild Sonja is that fire.  So i get why brandy wouldnt want to mix the two but she is amazing at what she does.   She grinded so hard for Ray-j Raydiation project i was astonished.

Brandy has been rebuilding her career quite nicely under jeff. She doesn't seem to have a management issue. If management was so good back when, things wouldn't have changed.

I don't know why y'all are placing the blame solely on Breyoff. Brandy is the one who signed the contract. She's been in the business how many years? Nothing like this shouldn't be even happening. I honestly would love for La Reid to get a hold of her but hopefully they work this out.

this case, She's trying to AVOID signing a bad deal with EPIC but because She's signed with BreyOFF he has to agree with what label she signs with because he'll be ultimately doing business with them too. so he's pretty much not agreeing with her signing with anyone else BUT EPIC. AND that's because he want's to get multiple streams from her sales etc.. as stated in the OP, he wan'ts to double dip into her shit but Bran doesn't want to sign with them because the deal is horrible

But that doesn't mean The original deal was a bad deal that she shouldn't have signed. But because she signed an agreement to work with Cham/BreyOFF - Brey feels like she should follow him wherever he goes.... So he's being petty saying basically

"I want you to sign here so i can double dip and if you wanna sign over there, I won't close that deal with you"

This could literally happen to ANYONE. it's not really Brandy's fault.
