Shit like #Summer2014 or "I'm just happy that there IS going to be a third single" really could get me all steamed AHP.

Every era cannot be...or atleast shouldn't be "recovery from depression"
I'm just saying.

And I'm not saying that BRANDY is not ALLOWED to be depressed by life's ups and downs...
I'm just saying... I'm living for the DAY when she stabilizes... whether things are going WELL or NOT...
Cause life is not going to be fabulous all the time, there will be setbacks... but you don't always have to fall back into old habits that are reminiscent of depression, once you have the tools you need to combat those situations.

And the thing is Brandy is not open either. She is very phony, PC, and guarded in most of the interviews.

But still lets you know she's going through dark times, suffering. Sis, either suck it up and let us not feel your struggle or share what ya going through and live more candidly...

She never just SPILLS in an interview or relaxes and unwinds and just tells something like it is. Always this interview persona...

And Rig,
I understand depression. I get it. It's real. Trust me. I'm speaking from a place of understanding......

But I'm really saying is that...
There comes a point where you stabilize, and even when there's setbacks, you have the mental strength to not fall back into the same habits and you remind yourself you're on a journey. I'm waiting for that moment. Cause each era it sounds like she just came out of depression again. Which means, she never left it or gained the skills necessary to PUSH through even when things are going completely wrong.
Well she always discusses affirmations. Sometimes you have to say things to yourself as many times as it takes until you actually begin to believe it

I don't know the inner workings of her mental state or life, so I'd never go that far, but I do think with TwoEleven she was pretty close to getting on good track.

It's a weird conversation to have though, because we could never know how someone should deal with their own personal depression. It's different for everyone. Every human is different

There's no one way to do anything and certainly not a set timeline for it. Just praying for her and hoping for the best! Excited for her tour and whatever happens, happens.

Doesn't sound like most of the forum has high expectations so most should be fine

In a lot of ways, I am where I am in life due to Brandy and what she's been through.
There's times something major happens, or a situation takes place where it can easily throw me off...
I've said, wait - if Bran can still SLAY the scene, bitch I'ma keep doing me.
So there's treasure to be found in what she's been through... and her sharing her story is helpful.

And now that I'm really focused and I'm come across many obstacles (no i'm a not star, but we all have our own battles) I'm still able to honor any setbacks without falling into a deep rut or shutting down. It wasn't always that way. So I'm just waiting for Bran to get to that point.

In no way am I telling Brandy HOW she should get through.

I'm just saying... I'M WAITING FOR... the day she finally finds PEACE throughout the GOOD or BAD days. Period. Isn't that we all strive for? Cause life WILL ALWAYS be UP and DOWN.

And yes, I have no expectations of Brandy anymore. It even leaked into the music. I want to say seeing her on Broadway left me content. But I'm at the point if Brandy doesn't release anything until 2026, then so be it. She has her life to live.

We've been hearing this shit since FULL MOON.

I never said that it couldn't. I just said we hear this just about every 4 years from her. Every 4 years she comes out of depression and finds herself.

I never said it was right or wrong. Only that we've been hearing this since FULL MOON.

Whatever Brandy has gone through or is going through is nothing to be faulted for.
We love her, we support her and will continue to do so.
