I'm very conscientious. I always say thank you, you're welcome etc and it really offends me when people don't do the same out in public.

Sometimes I have to catch myself because I'll be on this rampage and be total complete bitch to people who have nothing to do with what just happened.

Ummm don't raise your voice to me in front of a lot of people or give me constructive criticism because I feel like ur tryna show out and use me as some type of "example" in front of others

That offends me.

Something that definitely offends me when a non poc meets you and tries to be "down" and mess.

Also when a hetero gets a little too comfortable with their choice of words just because they know you're bi/gay and cool with them.

I get annoyed with my female friends or potential friends. You don't have to call me "hunh" or "boo" every 5 secs to let me know you're aware of my sexuality.

Or even girls who feel like because you're gay you're automatically more aligned with being a woman. Some of us are and thats cool. My classmate tried to invite me to her "ladies night" event and I was politely had to let her know  :uhh:

I hate talking to a non person of color in casual conversation and they put on that "hood, down, ghetto" accent to emphasize their point. Especially when I myself don't do it :plzstop: Depending upon the person/relationship I'll question the intent or just ignore it/them. But it irks my nerves

FINE.

It kinda offends me when white people are snappy towards younger black people. I was at the store the other day and this younger black girl was working the register; u can tell sis was a bit new. But here comes CAROL and her kids walking up to the counter with her bargain mess being impatient and bitchy. It was just unwarranted :uhh: like give the girl a break. Obviously the girl is still being trained. She visibly looked pissed and like she wanted to cry

I wanted to knock the white bitch upside her head so bad tbh

Someone calling out my character also bothers me. Especially if they don't really know me and it's probably inaccurate.

I also don't like when older white males call me son and boy. IDK it makes me feel uncomfortable.

So,

I be over the HIV/AIDS jokes sometimes. I just feel like as Black gay men, you're more likely to know or have encountered someone who has contracted it. A friend, an ex, someone you know. Especially with the rates being the way they are now.

I couldn't see anyone who may be dealing with it alone, coming to some of you for support. I think the way black men speak about it sometimes plays a role in why so many people don't get tested and are afraid to seek help. Which ultimately plays a role in the contraction rates.
