I think that's the point.  Nobody cared when he was doing Tuskegee Airmen and Great Debaters or any other happy historical negro films.  But when he decides to write, produce, and star in a kill yt film all the skeletons come right out of the closet.


I'm still going to see the movie because I want to know more about the movie.  But this does change my perception of Nate Parker.
