They really were. Usher just didn't have what it took to translate that popularity into great artistry at some point. Say what u want about Beyonce, she knew she had to evolve and becoming a staple in SOMETHING. Ironically Michael was the blueprint to ushers career and BEYONCE became the Michael Jackson of her time
