Yes, my friend recently go married. Same sex IR couple and I was jealous as hell. Jealous does not mean hateful nor spiteful.  It's okay to be jealous sometimes you just have to make sure it doesn't become nasty. Jealousy could be the boost that you needed to get on the right track.

Then ur not describing jealousy. Jealousy is what it is. U can't have ur own definition for it. By definition, jealous does indeed mean spiteful. U might wanna look for another word to describe what ur feeling because the    definition of jealous is set in stone

You're wrong, sweets. Jealous and spiteful are two totally different words. There is such a thing as healthy jealousy. Google it.  Jealousy is natural; however, how you react to the emotion of jealousy is what determines whether the jealousy is healthy.

You've mistaken jealousy for hateful, which black people tend to mix up a lot. When they say you 're hating on someone, which they actually mean jealous of someone. Which was always odd to me because If i'm hating on you how is that a bad thing if I don't like you? I do hate you. LOL but I digress...

jealous: resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage, etc., or against another's success or advantage itself.

mental uneasiness from suspicion or fear of rivalry, unfaithfulness, etc., as in love or aims.

All that other stuff may be how u justify a jealous nature but jealousy is what is. Good jealousy
There are tons of words in the English language, im sure there's one to define what ur describing. Aint no positive connotation to jealous
