But yh am over this relaxed mess, can't wait for all the natural-textured hair to grow back. My hair dressing lady convinced me it would be easier to braid my hair this way.

:hmph:
good luck with it hun

cuz usually once people spend so much time perming it, its dry, dull and hard to manage.

luh wat god gave u ok

luh u . let's end this on a positive note. <3

My hair grows very very fast, so no worries. Arabs grow hair and beards overnight.

easier to braid while relaxed?

:dead:

is she white?
She is Ivorian. I have very strong hair, a relaxer give it volume and makes it easier to comb through, if I want cornrows.

I don't think anybody on here cares about your hair. We just know you are sensitive about it.

Yeah lolz!

I agree. Shouldn't have shaded you gorls. Meant to shade one particular AA lol

Long as you see the error of your ways lolz

How were the bantu knots? I've been meaning to try them

I am getting those soon.

The ones I had weren't as cleanly seperated though, I had them more scruffy.

I like these. Trying to figure out how I want mine too look. I don't want super large knits but I'm not sure if it's possible with my hair.

I loved my twists too

:stressed:

Was this a weave

No wtf. It was sawed in. Synthetic hair mixed with mine. Like regular cornrows, just loose.

That's what I asked :diddraispoot:

Not a weave. braiding hair. You never had braids?

I've had cornrows before. But maybe I  just have the terminology wrong. I call all additional hair that's added into someone's head a weave

SouravMay

This is not a weave. It is cheap synthetic hair that costs 5?'s. Africans use those to do all kinds of braiding styles. I don't know what methods you guys use.

How did you get your braids done? You people do not use additional hair?

GRAND

what do you consider to be weave?

:omgwatshappening:

weave here is any fake hair thats put in someones head

SouravMay

I work in the hair business. And a weave, is hair that looks like actual hair, and you weave it in. The braiding hair is for sawing. Am mean, that is just what you use for braids and cornrows.

that is EXACTLY what they do here

you can braid the mess into your scalp or have it sewn in

either way, its weave
