The reason Justin was forgiven is because CBS asked Justin and Janet to both attend the GRAMMYs, a week later, and apologize.

Janet refused.  Justin did.

It's business.  Period. 

You don't go onstage and flash your breast at the biggest and most watched family event of the year.  MTV had a contract to produce the Super Bowl Half Time Show every 3 years, and because of Janet, they lost it.  Clear Channel, CBS & the NFL paid so much money in fines & attorney fees.  She played the wrong hand, and wouldn't cooperate when it was all said and done.

Then, had the audacity to follow it up with an album where she was naked on several men's magazines including KING.  She was such a dummy.

That Britney/Madonna kiss, 5 months prior, really did a number on her.

I saw something weird on IG like 2 months ago.  Her background singer from Anti World Tour posted a Throwback Thursday video from the tour.  And some guy who worked on the tour commented under the picture, "Jay Brown said no videos until we get back on the road in 2019!"

So, if she already has a 2019 tour planned, maybe she'll do Super Bowl 2019.

I think so too!  She's supposed to be filming her Netflix movie starting in January.   Album November 2018.  Super Bowl February 2019.  Tour immediately after.

This is big for Jay-Z.  No rapper has ever headlined the show by himself.  Granted, this is a "co-headline", but it will be the most predominate rap set in history.

And CBS & the NFL really aren't fucking with Rihanna after that little stunt she pulled in 2014, I see.  Because there's no reason she doesn't have a Halftime Show yet.

In 2014, Rihanna had secured the bag with the NFL.  And they were going to use "Run This Town" as their Thursday Night Football theme song every single week.  She was obviously going to book the Halftime Show at the end of the season -- in 2015 -- over Katy Perry.  Well, in 2014, video footage leaked of Ray Rice beating his girlfriend.  And the NFL caught a lot of heat.  They changed the direction of Thursday Night Football that week, and removed a bunch of songs.  Trying to appear more serious and respectful of the matter.  Rihanna let her fans convince her that they removed her, because she was a victim of domestic violence.

She got on Twitter and did this:



What she didn't know is the NFL planned to use her music again the following week, but the damage had been done.  After the tweet, they cut all ties with her.

Listen, it's work.  CBS and Clear Channel were still the ones in charge of the GRAMMYs.  I mean, it was the same network. 

Why would she NOT be banned if she wasn't going to play by their rules?  I think they were absolutely in the right.  Janet pulled a stunt that caused a lot of people their jobs.

She already had a televised apology

She made the choice to say she wouldn't apologize again, and the rest is history.
