Doesn't matter what she's respected FOR, fact is she is the biggest selling and highest grossing female act of all time.
Someone out there respects her even if you don't 
And I don't even like her like that 
The only thing is with her she doesn't get a lot of respect from her peers, but her music and videos, and the way she pushed the envelope image wise get a lot of recognition.
I don't know why your always trying to minimise someone's impact and influence down to how many octaves they have.
