The abuse made her dark and grown and edgy. It helped her transition into adulthood a lot.
ill agree with this

!!!

Not only that but people were rooting for her IMO
That was a huge situation

I feel like we embraced the dark Rih even more because of it

Yea, none of that reflected in the album sales or anything tangible to be able to make a statement like she benefited from it. And I dare to argue she was already on the edgy, grownup wave prior to that incident.  I mean wasn't her previous album entitled GOOD GIRL GONE BAD  :dead:
That statement just isn't true, but whatever.  I'm not gonna debate about sumn so trivial
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Her team knew how to flip the shit to her benefit perfectly. To the point that after the dark era we were feeining for the colorful LOUD Rih, her most successful era.

Rated R was not a for the moment sales album. It helped cement her credibility and artistry. It was kind of a key project for her longevity. A crucial stepping stone if you will.

Low key i wish bran?s team had utilized the acudent that way. Make her mysterious, introverted, edgy. Not mother Theresa.
No shade but I blame Scientology for Bran?s troubles. The powers that be ruined her.

It's unconditional, these days you know....

And Loud wasn't the era after Rated R. Please leave the Rih talk to the Rih stans

LOUD and GGGN without the rerelease are similarly successful with Loud having more number ones. Had they stretched the era out for two years, it?d have been also double plat

!!!!

Rih?s career moves so quickly so taking that risk wasn?t much of a gamble
The following year she?d have another album

And it worked
