I think you're a little off base with this one.  Afro pretty much summed it up.  Rihanna's situation might have been about an abusive relationship, but when you break that down, it's "love".  Even now, you're saying "Confessions teas".  An album about infidelity when broken down... it's "love". 

Not as easy to translate with a car accident where someone died.

The only thing is that no one's going to buy an album with a theme of "Hi haters - yeah. heard you were talking smack about me. Now buy this album so you can hear me clap back at you." unless it's your core stanbase.

I see what he means too. As a fan I definitely agree. When I first heard Human I was definitely sitting there like and I made no secret about it on here.

But overall I understand why she had to do that.
