I remember someone making the point that during the 90s', non black people couldn't do what we do vocally. However, that generation of kids born in the 90s' learned and grew up listening to what we do. As soon as non black people can do what we do, it makes us obsolete, because the package we come in ( african phenotype ) is not agreeable to white supremacy.

Hence, the vocal and music stylings of Adele, JT, Robin Thicke, Bieber, Ariana, Jessie J, Almost every white singer from the UK.

But who takes the blame? Is it the record labels and marketing execs or the consumers that are not supporting black artists.

It?s marketing and business

Politics etc

Can?t blame the public . They buy and support what they see most of on tv

Black R&B acts just don?t get the same support or budget they use to have
That's true. Many people don't even know these artists are coming out with new music because the marketing is lacking.

This girl ALMOST had a point, then started talking bout Kenny Latimore
:hmph:

Girl black ppl ain?t buy Kenny shit either, hush :dead:

RnB has progressed into trap soul, in the same vein that funk, soul, and blues digivolved into RnB.

It was bound to happen and it?s happening across ALL forms of artistry. Everyone wants to express themselves and humans find a way to do that.

1/10 million can sing like Whitney Houston
1/1 million can give what Beyonce gives
1/2 people can go into a studio and give what the average rapper/RnB artist does now with powered up engineers and producers :dead:

Just like Sports had steroids and supplements to even the playing field

Just like Art had photoshop to even the playing field

Just like photography was sabotaged by Apple, now everybody with an iPhone and depth effect is ?talented?

It?s just a sign of the times. It?s only a splash of the racial imbalance she?s referring to.

It?s simple demographics. Now white girl can go into a studio and give a Mariah book, and yea, she?s white, there are more white ppl in America, it?s not rocket science :dead:

Blacks just need to stay focused and stop pointing the finger as if something is wrong. Continue to be innovative! Hell we wouldn?t have this constant complaining about them stealing our shit if went and got the keys to our own damns country.

But for now the general consensus is that Blacks are happy being ?American?

When somebody is fed up it?ll show. Blacks talk talk talk, but they ain?t really fed up with SHIT :dead:
