Brandy and Monica are a prime example ... we as fans get so caught up in she?s better because of this or she?s better because of that, instead of supporting because they are different and both very good af at what they do. We have to take some ownership in our favs demise. Bottom line is, we should support because we are hurting our artist and making it hard for them to win!Gone with this!UGH!Why do we make everything negative a black issue? Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are white and are publicly feuding as well. Including their white fans. That's just music period. It's competitive. It's not a race thing.Same thing Bentley is in here doing. "Why is Tank singing about sex?"Like white artists singing R&B music are covering all of these amazing concepts.I hate when ya'll do this.Did you watch the video?YEAH. I did.And my point still stands. We're always pointing the finger at each other like we are somehow responsible for an industry literally stacked against black music. Do some research on the label merges that happened at the turn of the last decade and how most Urban divisions were cut with Urban staffs completely fired. Leaving R&B artists on labels with employees who probably had never even heard of them.Mixed with iHeart and Clear Channel doing business deals that forced many Urban stations into Rhythmic stations or to close altogether. In addition to rules set behind the scenes at Billboard giving advantage to Pop radio and changing the R&B Chart to no longer reflect airplay .... thus eliminating R&B out of the charts which directly impacts award shows which directly impacts visibility which directly impacts sales.Black people have been supporting and "doing our part" for years. That's why Demi Lovato can sell only 20k more than Tamar but still EAT. Because she has an industry literally backing her 100%.So, YEAH.You're wrong about that.Woo!Post of the yearThis is the reason why Mon , and Bran etc were struggling
