Deep rooted systemic issues, my love... deep rooted...
It's not as simple as just saying "stop committing crimes..."

Can we hypothesize ways to get rid of the electoral college tho

You shouldn't be allowed to vote while still in prison. But once someone is released I think they should be allowed to vote.

Interesting topic
I would say that all citizens should be allowed to vote
but technically if you're in jail you should be considered a prisoner not a citizen
so they should be excluded until they're released. I don't get what they would be voting for when they aren't paying taxes, utility bills or pretty much anything a regular person does

Citizens and prisoners are synonymous  :plzstop:

Oh Ray

I def get what u mean but I just feel like eek
There are still some states where the girls can vote
Why not all of them?
And the taxes that law abiding citizens pay are going into these facilities .. why shouldn't these girls have a voice?

:rudone:

Their vote matters lowkey because they have family outside of those gates.. children who will go to school.. wives and husbands who still need hope
Why shouldn't they partake in this?

I just.. 🥴

the citizens taxes paying FOR them but them not contributing is exactly why their vote should count less. They're like dependent children who are just sitting there benefiting from us. The family of the prisoners and spouses and over 18 yr old children can vote it's just the prisoners who should be left out
