According to several reports, at the last minute, Chris Brown's appearance on The Daily Show was cancelled and the 26 year old star was replaced with Nick Cannon. Chris was set to appear on Tuesday night's episode.

Apparently The Daily Show staffers took issue with having Chris as a guest due to his domestic violence assault from 7 years ago. The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah, knows about domestic violence all to well. In 2009, his stepfather abused his mother. He shot Noah's mother in the face, then hunted Noah down to kill him. Trevor Noah wanted to use this opportunity with Chris to discuss domestic violence and spread awareness. Unfortunately the staffers did not agree with it and he did not appear on the show.
I feel that if Trevor Noah, a man whose mother was shot in the face by her husband, was okay with having a sit down with Chris, why wouldn't the rest of TDS staff? Is Chris' background the only one they look into? Are all of their guests saints?
This cancellation comes on the heels of news that Chris' tour stops in Australia and New Zealand have been cancelled. Some outlets are reporting it was due to his visa being revoked over the same domestic violence incident.
