Saying that everyone who loves B7 is a blind follower is a ridiculous statement. And if Brandy says B7 is more personal than Afro, then that's what it is. She literally wrote B7 how would the songs on Afro even be more personal? :dead:

B7 is fake personal. She's writing about mental illness and using it as metaphors without truly experiencing it. We all know how Bran can put on that fake sincere front, and some of the songs on this album give me that. But that's just my opinion so you can have yours and let me have mine  :)

See I got the opposite from this album. This one feels more authentic than all of her previous. While her usage of mental illness is questionable, I can relate to a lot of what she's singing about.

The album isn't without its flaws. There are several things I wish they had done differently, but there's a lot that I love. I'm all for her continuing in this direction.

!!!!!
Definitely

who would want to pretend to have a mental illness ? Brandy clearly wasn't well many times throughout the past 8 years.

"Fake personal"!

Just shut up.

Wait are people really doubting that Brandy has mental health issues?
yall....

She denounced being Borderline or Bipolar in one of her interviews. I'm saying it's inauthentic to use those terms as metaphors for her relationships if she hasn't lived with the diagnosis. Many people struggle with depression or mental stability. It is not the same as having a clinically diagnosed disorder.

B7 vocals >>> Two Eleven. EASILY.

b7 wasn't about vocals tho. It's a vibey album. Same with Afro, even tho I think she did more vocally on b7 than that album too.
I'm honestly not hearing the "no vocal moments" mess. She shat on every song IMO :dead:

But it's the quality of the vocals that are why we love Bran right? Just cuz you're hootin and hollerin all over the place doesn't mean it sounds good  :dead:

Please show me this interviews because sis has pretty much CONFIRMED it :dead:  I think most fans know that Brandy has been dealing with mental issues for a LONG time. Even that 2016-2018 season was a CLEAR indicator.

It was a recent one with a man. I don't have time to go looking for it right now. Might have been the zane one? She confirmed that she was NOT bipolar.

Absolutely NOT.
I'm a fan of some of her songs but I've never liked her voice. You cannot possibly be comparing the vocals on b7 to anything Monica related :uhh:

Young

B7 is one of Brandy's best albums.

Period.

And the fact that artistically she was able to steer the ship>>>>

I've heard her say that the song Bye Bipolar was more of a metaphor but I NEVER her straight up denounce not being diagnosed.

Yeah some of these songs, like I Am Retarded and Bye Bipolar give me a Monica vocal downnnee. Sounds sloppy and all over the place. Now I don't hate mons and I actually have a couple of her albers but there's a time and a place for that and it ain't on a Brandy record
:hmph:

She did. I'll find it later.
