There are certain things that are subjective to personal taste like tone, but TECHNIQUE is not subjective. The girl is lacking in that area...let's just be real here

I don't think they can hear it

Some honestly can't; but that's most people who aren't musically inclined. How she connects to people vocally is the sincerity in her voice IMO.


And for the record, I'm not going to sit up here and say her technique doesn't seem to have suffered in recent years.
But she also spoke about having a vocal injuring after SS era; so I cut her some slack

It's like she feels the need to PROVE that she can sing, when she doesn't need to.

Monica's voice was at its best in the 90s and during the ATS era. Idk what happened after that but her control, tone and runs are ghastly now.

I remember hearing that she refuses to get a vocal coach and it shows. She didn't take care of her gift....at all.
