I am not miserable at all. And I started as a Monica stan, but I am more of a Brandy fan these days.

With that being said, Monica is seen as being a clout chaser and fake per this board, when she is consistently friends with the same people. Ya'll call her fake when those same people are still around her, and in her presence. I don't think she's inviting herself.

The reality is that Monica was on these girls tvs and in their compact disk players long before she knew who they were, just like Brandy. Just because Brandy has not kept any celebrity friendships doesn't mean that Monica is fake for having them. Ya'll would live for Brandy to be at Roc Nation brunches, and etc. but for someone reason she declines. And if Brandy was , yall wouldnt diss her like you do Monica.

I don't come on a message board to shade anyone. I correct delusional stans who are bored and have nothing more productive to do. I compared Monica to Brandy because 1) this is the basis of this thread, them being compared and 2) Because her stans are the one accusing more of being a clout chaser.

Monica is a celebrity, shes famous, its not odd for her to have famous friends. What I said about Brandy is true, she also had famous friends but she did not keep them for one reason or another. If she was hanging around Kelly Rowland or Serena Williams today, you would say she was clout chasing. You would tell the truth, you would say that Brandy was that girl before we ever knew who they were. Why yall don't do the same for Monica?
