i just think we should be more careful with the language we use when it comes to Black women and their "insecurities"
if a dark skinned, unambiguously black woman is insecure about her Blackness in America, is it really something we can blame her for? or low key shame her for?
think about it.
i just will be happy to see the day where we all ... "all" meaning everyone under the Black umbrella...will truly see each other.
the day where there will be more compassion for black women, their plight, and how it contributes to their reactions to certain things
and where mixed people will no longer get a "boo hoo poor mixed bvy. crying about ur 'struggle' huh?

" tea.
cuz yes, their unique experiences are often ignored as well because many ignorantly assume they should be happy just cuz they're mixed.
we all just need to see and understand one another. have compassion. try to see where one another is coming from.
