I've noticed that lately I've been caring less and less of who likes me and who doesn't.
Kinda like, I'll say what I say, I'll do what I do, and if you don't like it, that's an issue you'll have to deal with on your time.
Long as I know I'm not doing or saying anything to hurt anyone, it's like why care who approves and who doesn't?

Great answer. As I said in my previous post to QUEtie, I think to some degree we all care about it. We're human, we NEED acceptance. We need love, we need friendship, cannot survive with it. And that's scientifically proven.
And it is DEFINITELY important to be careful about the way you come off to others. I'm especially careful when I am @ work. Speaking with peers, superiors, etc. Being liked sometimes is the difference between keeping a job and losing it. that's real.

it depends on who the people are. When I was growing up I couldn't careless about no joe smoe accepting me or liking me. And now that I'm an adult it's really like :udontlookok: I don't have time :plzstop:

I'm just not going in trying to impress people or being something that I'm not in order to be friends with someone. Great answer. As I said in my previous post to QUEtie, I think to some degree we all care about it. We're human, we NEED acceptance. We need love, we need friendship, cannot survive with it. And that's scientifically proven.
And it is DEFINITELY important to be careful about the way you come off to others. I'm especially careful when I am @ work. Speaking with peers, superiors, etc. Being liked sometimes is the difference between keeping a job and losing it. that's real.

That's always been a huge flaw of mine. I have severe social anxiety and always have the feeling that someone is judging me. Like I can walk in a room and be a nervous WRECK because I think everyone is looking at me and judging. So naturally I often crave the acceptance of others.
I hate it.....but it's something I have to work on.
