But im confused, are we talking about the uber cab drivers or just the uber food delivery? Here uber eats delivery is on bikes so its different from the uber cab drivers.
vbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

It's ubereats

Here in the states most use their cars for it

CHOKE

There are jus some things you jus have to do for yourself, no matter how convenient another option may be

Like forget them not picking up your food, imagine what they're doing TO your food

Ulysses

Poor folks always explaining why they don't tip. If you want that food HOT and good when it gets to your house, you better tip

klappa.

u cant see the tip before hand this hoe is lying. and even if you could its DUMB to focus on that because many ppl like my self tip AFTER i receive my food in the app or in cash which is better. u only get a tip from me if u nice and deliver my food expeditiously. i'm not about to PRE-tip you for shit

Quoteor in some cases it doesn't say it exactly but they can quickly calculate it based on the order to figure it out

They've definitely figured out how to calculate whether someone has tipped or not because UE gives them the total earnings before they pick up the food .

Here at 2:25 to 3:00 a driver literally goes to a Denny's restaurant where TWO orders were available for pick up , and left the one with that clearly included no tip. She only picks up the one with a tip.

She declines the other order.

Someone else's food literally sat there getting cold waiting for another driver that's happy to waste their time picking it up. She walked right by it even though the distance to deliver was only 0.3 miles.

They're not stupid - they can do basic math and have figured out the system it seems . She literally says .... No tip , no trip 🤷🏾‍♀️ Before driving tf off lol

This is a subject me and my pplz were talking about earlier this week... even when you do tip sometimes the UberEats or DoorDash delivery ppl don't even come straight to your door as instructed... it has happened to me plenty of times. I'm like bitch I tipped you, why are you leaving my food at the lobby and refusing to drop it at my door?!  :dead:

But I do think the app services should just include it in their fees like an automatic 15-20% tip for them in the total and anything extra is based on the customers satisfaction

klappa.

they cant calculate it. the apps arent set up that way. the only way they can see tip is if the restaurant puts the doordash reciept (not supposed to) on the bag instead of the store reciept. the doordash reciept will show the tip.

secondly, these drivers ARE getting paid for their deliveris. its not like they're delivering food for free. so if they think its a waste if time to deliver an order just because there's no tip, they're literally taking money out of their iwn pockets. very dumb.

The fees are already excessive.Plus, the prices are more than what it would be if you got it.Then on top of that you have to tip.
With Instacart and Doordash, I start with a small tip.If everything goes good, I adjust it.

klappa.

also the apps do the most these days. you got a delivery fee

then

service fee! small cart fee !

bitch the delivery IS the service tf  :everythingok: and i still need to tip on top of that ! yea i usually tip but sometimes when them fees stack, i dub

Now this is a fuckin FACT! I'm like alright now y'all just adding dumb ass fees for no reason AND y'all already upcharging the food by like a $1-$3 extra from what it will be in person smh

Russian Roulette

I'm honestly happy for them...that they now get an opportunity to be picky with their deliveries . a lot of people actually pride themselves on shitting on and shortchanging service people like it's some badge of honor . Or like it's something cute . That shit really rubs me the wrong way.

this is their time to fight back a bit and gain control.

Anytime I use a service regularly I  want to feel like the people servicing me are happy and feel appreciated . I use UE every weekend so this is a big deal to me.

One UE guy recently delivered me a tea from midtown to here in downtown on his scooter ... when I saw he wasn't driving with the order I got nervous and felt bad like that's quite a distance to go without a car so I messaged him beforehand to check in before he took off ... to make sure he was fully aware of the distance he was about to take.

he was so damn happy to get the order to me like "oh no it'll be fast I promise !! I'll be there very soon!! " and he was . He was super duper nice about it and I was wondering why he was so happy but now it makes sense . They now know when they have a "good order" before delivering it.

LMAOOOOO the way they set you up to think you getting a discount but they add it back up in fees  :plzstop:

Russian Roulette

And yes UE and DoorDash etc charge other fees which tend to climb but guess what ... we complain about it and then STILL use the service instead of getting our asses out to get our own food or cooking it

why? Cuz we love the LUXURY of food delivery. We love being able to be lazy and have our food not only prepared for us, but delivered to us on a platter .

But we're perfectly OK with paying those fees as we complain about them but .... punishing the DRIVER who is actually delivering the food to us and has no control over what decisions corporate makes about new and heightened fees .... With the whole "shit I already paid X amount of fees I ain't paying no more lol sorr lol" logic .

like think about it ... how would u feel?
