I would have preferred something more, traditional with a FEW embellishments here and there.

But I feel differently about the VISION this morning. I can dig it. It's def one of a kind, in the history of SSB performances. It was daring and I kinda like that.

Maybe what people mean is that they were "relatively excessive" in regards to what we are used to hearing from the anthem. Which is usually a boneless mess.

I did not like it but it cool to try new things. She's done it so many times if they wanna watch a solo version no backgrounds go watch those.
