I agree they are not, but people act like they are. And personally I would love for them to just make a clear statement or think about it, as their voice is so powerful. I don't like that a white man was the first in hip hop to do it... Why can't our black rappers make it an issue.

It's so funny cuz on Saint Patricks day, my white coworker buddy revealed to me that he's part Irish (he's white), explaining why he proudly sported his green shirt.
I told him that my father's side of the family actually has some Irish roots, but how it came into my family isn't exactly something for me to be smiling with a green shirt, happy and giddy about. I was joking around, laughing. (even though it is true)

He caught what I meant and IMMEDIATELY that white guilt kicked in.

then 2 minutes later I was hearing about how MANY races of people were slaves, how it still exists, how disgusting it is....
