Yea I don't like the whole movement talk like girl are you putting out an album or nah ? And when ? A time frame not no divine timing or you want it to be right . You never even echoed a word about the EP that never came out and now it's a very vague movement .. She is very clever about not talking anything in debth about the music .. She is very good at going around it and talking about acting or Syrai or Roxie or depression... I'm here for brandy . The. singer and I'm happy the video is coming but at this point it's like we've been waiting for what 3 years , 4 years for new brandy music ? I mean even longer if you want to talk about REAL brandy creative epic music . So I think the EP being shelved without a proper transition and Roxie and Zoe and now Roxie again I know me personally it's like girl just give your core fans some music and leave all the extra ness .

Honestly, that's why I've been so hard on her lately. I'm tired of getting gassed up for nothing.
It really doesn't take that much to give us a damn EP. Hell, she can even leak a few tracks as a gift to the fans
like she did with "How High". I don't understand why everything with her is so fuckin complicated.

Seriously, after all the mess this album better be fuckin epic or I'm done. No shade.

I agree! Maybe (or maybe not) Scooter Braun, but Brandy needs a powerhouse manager who is well connected and save from a business, media, and technology perspective. Unfortunately, Brandy strikes me as one who goes off of "feel" of the manager vs. securing management can get her the right opportunities that she has worked hard for and rightfully deserves.

While I think Jeff genuinely believes and wants the best for Brandy, their partnership is likely more beneficial for him than it is for Brandy.

I'd also add that outside of Alicia, none of his other clients have really struck out to have SUSTAINABLE careers. And even with Alicia, a lot of that work was Alicia working directly with Clive and him taking interest in her as a marquee artist at J Records at the time. Jeff just happened to be managing her and got/took credit for a lot of the success that followed as a result of that.

Lastly, I'd also add that I love Brandy and will always love her. However, I don't really have any expectations of her at this point because its as if she and her team don't learn from previous mishaps. There's no reason why she didn't capitalize off the attention she was garnering from Chicago and release new music shortly after. Not only is bad/unsmart business - it's genuinely frustrating for fans.

Unfortunately with the current state of the music industry, if you are gone 5+ years and haven't had a current hit, you have missed an entire generation. So each time you release something you are literally rebuilding your fanbase and reintroducing yourself to people who otherwise should already be familiar with you.

this will be the 3rd "comeback" era for sis since 2006, I do kinda want her to come and STAY for awhile. even if it's just releasing music to soundcloud like Dawn or doing EP's like Mya
