I asked you in the other thread if you found anything about your dad's side and I could tell you weren't feeling my question and that was somewhat telling to me. Sorry. Don't try to make this out to be like everyone is bullying you cause if anything a lot of people are biting their tongues on the matter

I literally had never had a problem with him before. Because he always randomly hops on these lil pet projects and goes on about them for a while, i was curious about how all this came to be.  I went into one of his lil threads at the beginning of this phase and asked just that. howd all this come about
He jumped on defense and swore i was being funny or shady or some shit. Im sorry but when uve done all this so called evolving and are secure in what ur doing and where u stand,  i just think ur actions represent that.  I have my own opinions about this whole thing but that's neither here nor there. Where did you get "woe is me" from anything I said?

Me saying that I don't care what you have to say or care to argue on and on about it, doesn't mean I'm in a corner crying. If I feel I need to reach for scalp I will.  but lately I found myself caring less and less , that's all. all the back and forth, arguments for threads, reads, shade, not saying I'm "above" it but I don't feel the need to engage as much.

As uve said, im not interested in a back and forth.  Im perfectly fine with standing in my opinion without u providing me clarity, which is also why i refrain from entering ur ancestry threads.

Yeah I think it's great that Herb has found interest in his roots, but it's kinda overkill. Tired of hearing/seeing your grandma. If it was just confined to the ancestry threads, that would be fine because I would just avoid them. But you find a way to bring it into everything.

I think if you are less than 25% of something, it's not worth talking about. You always hear people say "I'm a quarter Spanish" or "I'm half white, half black." Nobody is walking around saying they are mixed cause they are 10% Native American.

Why can't people just be happy being black??

Melungeon heritage makes up 32% of who I am. Which is pretty significant. And it's from the woman who raised me. And the mother who i was cloned from lol I reserve every right to identify as I please,

And it's hilarious to be shaded by and told which part of my heritage I should keep hush by people who have their own DNA admixture kits in the lab processing as we speak.

That's the hilarious part about it. Then you have the black people who will say "ohhhh why they claiming creole??? My grandmother is Cherokee but u don't see me claiming or talking about it !!!?"

Well u just did claim and talk about it some people are so scared of what blacks will think of them claiming what is theirs that they will subliminally hint at their mixed ancestry.

"Oh someone in a store told me I barely look black!! It made me sad :( "  But in the next breath tell another person they're obsessing over their own heritage.
