We already said he's synonymous with the 2000s and he was once beyonce's counterpart. No one is taking anything from him, just not giving him any undue props. He ain't an icon. :dead:

He was one of the biggest male teen singers of the 90's. He has classics and started a musical
Movement. He will always be brought up in conversations about male r
& b singers.

What's iconic about usher? Singers have iconic voices, he don't have that. Dancers have iconic dances or ATLEAST performances. Usher doesn't have a OMG performance that people revere. Mike had the moonwalk. Hell, even ciara has the damn matrix. There is no iconic look that's associated with him. Madonna had the cone titties. Janet has the rhythm nation look. Usher literally has NOTHING associated with him. Having a diamond album simply aint enough. Hammer has a diamond album. Vanilla ice sold like 8 million copies of an album. Sales don't make someone iconic. Icon aint equal to someone who was successful at one point
