Are we going to have an honest conversation and say that Raven was poking fun at ethnic names in general and deeming them inappropriate for the workplace?

Or are we going to act as if that was for Watermelondrea specifically.

Whether it's "extreme" "ethnic", whatever the case. It doesn't matter because ultimately that's all subjective and very relative -

One person could find "Shaquita" to be perfectly normal, whereas another Black person could find it it to be "extreme" or "ghetto".

Bottom line is, for her to sit and say that ANY names on a job application would play a role in a hiring process is an issue. Names have NOTHING to do with someone's qualifications.

That's what got her in hot water. Not simply having fun with names.

It's not about bashing Black women who speak out, because Maxine Waters goes for the president himself, guns-a-blazing and all, with no apologies and I'm behind her 100%.
