What's the real difference? She just wants to "enhance" her jawline. "enhance" her nose. "enhance" her entire fucking face.

And if you ask many people who do DRENCH their pics in filter or bleach their skin , they'll tell you that they're just ENHANCING what they already have. Just EVENING it out! that's all!

Don't use enhancements as an excuse when its convenient and then give no one else a pass for their share of it.

Colored contacts, like any "enhancement" can be viewed as an underlying insecurity but not in Naomi and Kenya's case. That's like saying any woman who dyes their hair is automatically insecure..

And this is where the problem throughout this entire thread lies.

I NEVER said Kenya was insecure. 

I just expressed my disappointment because I thought she was au naturale.

Then we went into a BROADER issue of Eurocentrism. Which is totally relevant in ANY discussion regarding colored contacts in a black person's eyes. Anyone who doesn't think it is....you're in denial.

But at the end of the day, I still stan for GODya just like I stan for MANY beautiful black brown eyed women

My only crime here seems to be having an adoration and preference for black women who love the way they were born and embrace their natural God given beauty, and do not try to hide it. And if thats the charge, convict me right now. I'll gladly perch under that cell.

However, my adoration for them does not mean any other black women are unworthy of adoration. I still stan for Toni Braxton, and she stays with a yaki PERCHED in her head. GHan is quick to throw a 10 footer on ha head real quick as well. You guys need to stop looking at it in the wrong way.

But I don't think "au naturale" within the entertainment industry is the best source for a woman who truly expresses or exudes this trait.

We're CONSTANTLY suffering on a DAILY basis, being put down, being told we're not good enough, not SMART enough, being told how to be more civilized, more beautiful....even being told through the actions of our "law enforcement" that we do not deserve to even LIVE.

You're "heartbroken" and "disappointed" because they wear colored contacts and automatically categorized them with other black women who've been brainwashed to do things to fit a certain standard of beauty. You don't even know the motive behind them wearing the contacts though so I'm not sure why you quoted Yummy. Then you debated w'/ Zu over some more mess.

Makeup, hair treatment, extreme dieting, etc. These aren't things of a "natural woman" but rather a woman who knows how to take care of herself enhance her physical features.
