Have you guys NOT noticed that Kenya always brags about her NATURAL beauty?

Like....wtf? She touts herself as a naturally beautiful girl.

So one should only be disappointed to discover a part of this natural beauty is indeed not natural.

Should we bring in a rocket scientist to explain this further?

So why weren't you disappointed about her implants or other mess?

You know who really shocked me was Paris Hilton.  She looks good with them but I bet she would give a more exotic tee if she kept her natural hair and eyes.

She's gorgeous, and not just because of her eyes!  I love her personality too.

My point is....She uses the term "natural" a LOT.

That's the difference between her and someone like Beyonce.

So when I find out that she wears light color contacts I don't even bat an eye.
it's Beefasa. I'm not gonna sit here and say I'm disappointed, or hurt.  for what? she's not sitting around claiming to a natural BEAUTY QUEEN.

btw, since when is straightening of our natural hair an "enhancement"? What about straight hair is better, exactly? This all goes back to the problem I am talking about thru this thread. But mess. I don't wanna get back into it.

I put it along the line w/ colored wigs. Most people just love to dabble in different mess.

I never think of "trying to fit beauty standards! sellout!" when I see a person of color wearing contacts.     

I agree to an extent, but when someone wears them practically 24/7 and then
tries to give the impression that they're real. That's when I see it as an issue.

Like, Kenya was on Wendy's radio show a while back and one of the guys
said he thought she wore contacts and she took offense.

So she lied about wearing colored contacts. That makes her a liar I guess?

Does it mean she's subconsciously trying to look like Becky instead of Keisha?

Honestly, I don't know her reasons for doing it. I'm just not here for the fake.

If you're gonna rock them that's totally fine. I don't see a problem with it at all,
but to try and make people think they're your real eyes let's me know there's
something else going on with you.

Just like when these guys book their naps with an S-Curl and then tell the gorls
that it's their natural mess when asked about it.

I never said "straight hair enhances beauty" but it can be used to enhance beauty to pull of a certain look. Same can be said for when a person curls their hair etc. Straight hair is not superior nor are colored eyes.
