its really simple

no u don't have to tell any ole random person that you're trans

however

you OWE that information to a potential sexual/romantic partner

some people do no want to be with a trans person for their own reasons. the trans gorls know this. so when they opt to keep this a secret they are intentionally being DECEPTIVE.

they know there is a possibility a partner might reject them if they disclose being trans, so they keep it a secret. thats literally the only reason you would keep this from a potential partner.

and that is WRONG.

like i understand a trans gor being hesitant to just shout it from the rooftops. our society is growing but it aint there yet. however, there is NO excuse for not disclosing this to a potential partner. trans are obligated to share this info in THAT situation. absolutely no excuse or justification for no doing so.

I get it. Society is stupid and late as fuck on things (there are still men who believe a woman should only be a housewife, for instance) so not saying about anything about being trans is understandable. It ain't anyone's business--unless you plan to do anything sexual with a person. Let them make a choice if they want to be with you.

There is a difference between having pride and also being wise with who you choose to disclose that with because trans women are constantly in danger, being harmed, raped and killed because no one will give a damn. They're unfortunately disposable.

If someone were to share that they were trans here on this board, the amount of transphobia, harmful rhetoric and trolling that would take place....  There's real danger in telling folk you're trans.
