Im talking about
Brandy TRYING to give the warmth, color and depth of nsn and afro and sometimes human
but it not sounding as natural and robust as it used to despite the range still being there
Im talking about the changes in her diction and enunciation and deciding to take a lazier vocal approach to often mask these changes she can no longer execute like she once could
Im talking about the MYTH no longer being true or being less true due to age that she can switch it up anytime all the time because its evident that she cannot and with her reworking almost this entire album we can clearly hear the spots where tonality was not matched and thats done under the assumption the listener cant tell
how she sounds is irrelevant she ALWAYS SOUNDS GOOD AND HER VOICE IS IN GREAT CONDITION
And i dont think no one would ever say she sounds bad
this is just nitpicking at the end of the day
But im also talking about how shes begun to do micro vocal comps for lead vocals resulting in a difficult transition live
and i belive apart of that is breath control issues either dude to weight gain or smoking
you should not be surprised that i bring these issues up and challenge the ones that want to pretend everything is the same and its just brandys ability in and of itself that results what we hear
no there is alot of changes over this almost damn decade with her voice
